For Gallery Owners – Setting Up a Gallery

Gallery Account Establishment Information Required

  1. Organisation name
  2. Description of organisation (short paragraph)
  3. Contact name (person managing gallery within your organisation)
  4. Contact email address (as per above)
  5. Phone number
  6. Bank account details for deposits – account name, BSB and account number
  7. High resolution landscape orientated image for your gallery banner

Gallery Artworks for Sale Information Required – for each artwork being offered for sale

  1. Name of artwork
  2. Short description of artwork for sale
  3. Short description of artist (back story with no identifying information)
  4. Photo of artwork for sale – please note that the better quality the photo the greater chance of a sale (please see ARTM Gallery (include link) for reference)
  5. Price of artwork for sale (local currency)

When an Artwork is Purchased

Our Responsibility

  • Provide a secure payment portal for the buyer to purchase the artwork online
  • Calculate the postage cost prior to final purchase being made in the payment process
  • Once payment is complete, we send an email to both the gallery owner and the buyer confirming sale and final price
  • Receive the full payment into the Harm Reduction Australia bank account
  • Include the full postage costs incurred by the gallery owner for all artwork sales in the monthly Harm Reduction Australia remittance to gallery owners for artwork sales

When an Artwork is Purchased

Your Responsibility

  • After an artwork is purchased, the gallery owner is required to securely pack and post the artwork purchased to the seller’s nominated address
  • Inclusion of a small card that includes name of artwork, brief description or artwork and background of artist (not name) and a link to your organisation’s website is recommended if possible.
  • When funds are received from Harm Reduction Australia, the distribution of 50% of the sale price of the artwork (not including postage costs) to the artist is the responsibility of the registered organisation controlling the gallery

For Buyers

  • Peruse and add selected artworks from the gallery of your choice to your cart
  • Purchases from different galleries must be made separately with orders from only one gallery permitted each order
  • At checkout, a price for postage for each individual artwork to your nominated address will be automatically calculated and added to the final price 
  • The gallery owner will securely pack and post your selected artwork to your nominated address
  • Please tell your family, friends and colleagues about the Wellbeing Galleries
